„As public, non-commercial spaces with free and equal access for all, libraries are among the best places to bridge the divides that usually separate us. Both today and in the future, libraries are therefore vital to the cohesion and strength of our democracies. That is what drives my work."
I work at Aarhus Public Libraries, Denmark, where I develop and facilitate initiatives that support democratic engagement and participation. I focus on libraries as spaces for democratic participation, creating participatory formats, collaborations, and inclusive environments for dialogue and debate. I hold an MA in Political Science from the University of Copenhagen and have around 10 years of experience designing and testing democracy-supporting initiatives.
