„Activism works, so act." (Greta Thunberg)
Change.org is the world's largest platform for social change, a non-profit-owned tech company where over 500 million people have taken action. In 2025 alone, people started over 500,000 petitions and backed them with 170 million signatures. My job is to make that engine run faster. I spend most of my week building AI agents supporting everyday heroes to run their petitions and campaigns. I work I'm a comms executive who builds her own workflows, a sentence I could not have written a year ago.
Today I'm Senior Director of Communications, leading the platform's major markets across Europe and APAC. I've been building this organisation for a long time. I created Germany's first online petition platform for Greenpeace in 2005, opened Change.org Germany as its first employee in 2012, and served in the C-team as Chief Global Officer for Europe, Russia and Australia from 2016-2021.
I'm a child of pre-unification East Berlin, born 500 metres from the Wall, in a family it had separated. I know what it means when people have no lever to move the decisions made about their lives. Building those levers is what I've done for 20 years, and that lived experience of people power still shapes how I lead. I speak internationally on the role of business and tech for social impact, sustainable business models in the social change sector, and female leadership.
